PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

QUEST Internacional is a centre for global education that offers an opportunity to engage in experiential and transformative education about social justice and global issues.

Participants experience the reality of the majority of the people in the world by encountering it in Mexico.

This includes issues such as poverty, racism, sexism, terrorism, oppression, and the effects of globalization and neoliberalism.

QUEST participants learn by participating physically, emotionally, and intellectually with individuals and communities who have confronted the above issues.

Our classroom is Mexico's Third World. Our teachers are the poor, and their stories are our textbooks.

We ask our participants to rewrite history. They will do so with the help of expert guidance, skilled facilitators, and community support.

We believe we are all called to become enlightened and active citizens.

Change in ourselves, and change in the world, is essential.

Shared dialogue about our beliefs and values facilitates that change.

We all benefit when we build relationships with people whose world differs from ours.

QUEST is an open and transparent, not-for-profit organization committed to global education for social justice.

"If you are here to help me, then you are wasting your time. But if you come because your liberation is bound up in mine, then let us begin."
